Independent IPTV testing for US households

IPTV trials that need no credit card

A card-free trial and a “free trial” that asks for card details are different products. The first costs you nothing and ends by itself. The second is a subscription with a delayed first charge, and it depends on you remembering to cancel.

Every service on this page is the first kind. You enter an email address, you receive credentials, and if you do nothing the trial simply expires.

Ownership disclosure. The services ranked on this page — TereaTV, FreeGoTV, VocoTV, BexyTV, KroozTV, ViewTVY, EarthWebTV and VinomTV — are all operated by the same company that publishes this site, and we earn money when you subscribe to any of them. Figures such as channel counts and library sizes are supplied by the services themselves and are not independently audited. Read the full ownership disclosure before you use these rankings to make a decision.

The ranking

  1. BexyTV

    Cheapest annual plan

    8.8/10

No card, and no app install either — the browser player means the entire path from signup to watching happens without you committing anything.

    From
    $8.33/mo
    Live channels
    50,000+
    On demand
    180,000+
    Connections
    1-6
    Trial
    24-hour trial, no card

    What works

    • $8.33 a month on the annual plan, level with the cheapest here
    • Plays in a normal web browser, so there is nothing to install
    • Trial starts without entering a card

    What does not

    • The published feature table lists two simultaneous devices on every tier, which contradicts the six-device selector above it
    • Browser playback uses more power on older TVs than a native app

    Trial
    24-hour trial

    What works

    • Trial order form is one screen - the shortest signup we tested
    • Credentials arrived by email in under five minutes
    • Plan page states the per-connection price without a configurator

    What does not

    • Fewer regional US channels than TereaTV or FreeGoTV
    • No published catch-up window

  3. KroozTV

    Best short-term plan

    8.7/10

Trial sits at its own dedicated store URL rather than being buried inside the paid product list, which removes the usual risk of accidentally ordering a paid plan.

    From
    $13/mo
    Live channels
    50,000+
    On demand
    180,000+
    Connections
    1-6
    Trial
    24-hour trial

    What works

    • Three and six-month plans are priced closer to the annual rate than most
    • Five-connection special is a single product rather than an upsell chain
    • Activation completed in minutes on every order we placed

    What does not

    • Annual plan is the most expensive of the eight
    • No browser player - every device needs an app
Order KroozTV Read the full KroozTV review $13/mo on the 12-month plan
  4. VocoTV

    Best for large households

    9.0/10

Standard 24-hour no-card trial, and the one to use if you specifically need to test simultaneous streams.

    From
    $12/mo
    Live channels
    50,000+
    On demand
    180,000+
    Connections
    1-6
    Trial
    24-hour trial

    What works

    • Five-connection package is priced below what most services charge for three
    • Streams stayed independent - one device buffering did not affect the others
    • Coupon VOCOTV1 applies on top of the annual rate

    What does not

    • Newer service, so there is less long-term reliability history to judge
    • Channel search inside the app is slow with the full list loaded
Order VocoTV Read the full VocoTV review $12/mo on the 12-month plan
  5. EarthWebTV

    Clearest pricing

    8.5/10

No card required, and its published price list means you already know what the paid plan will cost before the trial ends.

    From
    $9.17/mo
    Live channels
    36,000+
    On demand
    18,000+
    Connections
    1-5
    Trial
    24-hour trial

    What works

    • Every price for every cycle and connection count is published up front
    • Second-cheapest annual rate on the list at $110 a year
    • Plan tiers stop at five connections, so there is no confusing sixth tier

    What does not

    • Smallest on-demand library here by a wide margin
    • 36,000 channels is below the 50,000 the others claim

How to tell the difference before you sign up

Look at the order form itself. If a card number, billing address or PayPal authorisation appears at any point, the trial converts to a paid subscription unless you intervene. A genuine no-card trial asks for an email address and nothing else.

Be equally cautious of trials described as free but priced at $1 or $2 “for verification”. That is a payment method on file, and the mechanics are identical to a card trial.

What to do when the trial ends

Nothing, if you do not want to continue. A card-free trial expires on its own and there is no account to close.

If you do want to continue, order a single month rather than the annual plan. The trial proved the stream works; it did not prove the service will still be here in December.

Common questions

Are there IPTV trials with no card at all?

Yes. All eight services we track offer a 24-hour trial that requires only an email address, with no card or payment method.

Will I be charged automatically when the trial ends?

No. Because no payment method is on file, these trials expire without any charge and without you needing to cancel.

Is a $1 trial the same as a free trial?

No. A $1 trial puts a payment method on file and converts to a paid subscription unless you act. Treat it as a subscription, not a trial.

Which service has the fastest card-free signup?

ViewTVY. Its trial order form is a single screen and credentials arrived by email in under five minutes in our testing.
