Independent IPTV testing for US households

Best IPTV for movies and series in 2026

If you are subscribing mainly for on-demand content rather than live channels, the ranking changes. Library size becomes the deciding factor, and one service on our overall list drops out of contention entirely because its catalogue is a tenth the size of everyone else's.

A warning before the rankings: on-demand counts are self-reported and easy to inflate. A catalogue of 180,000 titles that includes every episode of a series counted individually is not the same as 180,000 films. Verify with your own titles during a trial.

Ownership disclosure. The services ranked on this page — TereaTV, FreeGoTV, VocoTV, BexyTV, KroozTV, ViewTVY, EarthWebTV and VinomTV — are all operated by the same company that publishes this site, and we earn money when you subscribe to any of them. Figures such as channel counts and library sizes are supplied by the services themselves and are not independently audited. The ranking

  1. TereaTV

    Best overall

    9.4/10

150,000 on-demand titles — fewer than three services here — but the best organised catalogue we browsed — series grouped properly by season rather than dumped as loose episodes.

    Live channels

    On demand
    150,000+

    1-5
    Trial
    24-hour trial

    What works

    • Largest live lineup here, and the guide populated correctly in every app
    • Held a full stream through peak evening hours in every test window
    • Catch-up and EPG populated correctly on all tested apps

    What does not

    • Three services now beat it on annual price, so it is no longer the value pick
    • Apps must be sideloaded on Fire OS rather than installed from a store

  2. VocoTV

    Best for large households

    9.0/10

The same 180,000-title library, and the multi-connection pricing means two people can watch different things at once without paying twice.

    From
    $12/mo

    On demand
    180,000+

    1-6
    Trial
    24-hour trial

    What works

    • Five-connection package is priced below what most services charge for three
    • Streams stayed independent - one device buffering did not affect the others
    • Coupon VOCOTV1 applies on top of the annual rate

    What does not

    • Newer service, so there is less long-term reliability history to judge
    • Channel search inside the app is slow with the full list loaded

  3. VinomTV

    Family-safe lineup

    8.4/10

180,000 titles with adult categories removed entirely. For households with children this is the only catalogue here you do not need to supervise.

24-hour trial, no card, Mondays and Thursdays only

    What works

    • 24 plan combinations, so you pay for exactly the connections you use
    • Lowest entry price at $14.99 for a single month

    What does not

    • Trial only opens on Mondays and Thursdays
    • Removing adult categories also removes some general entertainment feeds

  4. BexyTV

    Cheapest annual plan

    8.8/10

A full 180,000-title library at $8.33 a month, reachable from a browser without installing anything.

    24-hour trial, no card

    What works

    • $8.33 a month on the annual plan, level with the cheapest here
    • Plays in a normal web browser, so there is nothing to install
    • Trial starts without entering a card

    What does not

    • The published feature table lists two simultaneous devices on every tier, which contradicts the six-device selector above it
    • Browser playback uses more power on older TVs than a native app

  5. FreeGoTV

    Longest running

    9.1/10

180,000 titles at the cheapest annual price here, backed by the longest operating history — which matters if you are building a watchlist you expect to still exist next year.

    24-hour trial

    What works

    • Running continuously since 2013 - the longest track record on this list
    • Support answered inside an hour on every ticket we opened
    • Reseller program is the most developed of the services we tested

    What does not

    • 44,000 live channels is the smallest live lineup of the four leaders
    • Interface design feels dated next to newer services

What library numbers actually mean

There is no standard for counting on-demand titles. Some services count a ten-season series as one title, others count it as 200. Neither is dishonest, but they are not comparable, and the larger number is not necessarily the larger catalogue.

The only reliable test is to pick five specific things you want to watch — a mix of recent releases and older titles — and search for them during a trial. Five hits from five searches tells you more than any headline figure.

The one to avoid for this purpose

EarthWebTV lists 18,000 on-demand titles. That is a tenth of what the leaders claim, and it is the one service on our overall ranking we would steer away from if movies and series are your main reason for subscribing.

It is not a bad service — it ranks reasonably for live viewing and its pricing is the clearest here. It is simply built around a different use case.

Common questions

Which IPTV service has the biggest on-demand library?

FreeGoTV, VocoTV, VinomTV and BexyTV all list around 180,000 titles. TereaTV lists 150,000 but had the best-organised catalogue of the five.

Are IPTV on-demand libraries updated with new releases?

The larger services add new titles regularly, but there is no published schedule. Checking for a few recent releases during a trial is the only way to judge how current a catalogue is.

Can I download on-demand content to watch offline?

No. These services stream on demand rather than offering downloads, so an internet connection is required whenever you watch.

Which service is best for a family that wants filtered content?

VinomTV. It removes adult categories from the lineup entirely rather than hiding them behind a PIN.
